Louis Paltnoi - Producer

Paltnoi is an experienced producer with a television and film career spanning fourteen years. Starting his career as a Music and Celebrity Producer for some of the UK's best known entertainment television shows, he has developed, produced and directed programmes and documentary features for many of the UK's broadcasting heavyweights, including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky.

Paltnoi has written and produced a number of award-winning short films. The comedy short Mr Firecul (starring David Ginola), which he co-wrote with writer-director Jade Carmen, premiered at London's Odeon Covent Garden and has been broadcast repeatedly on BBC2..

Paltnoi is the co-writer and producer on the highly anticipated feature film, Eating Dust (starring Jimi Mistry and Charles Dance) shooting in Q4 2010 and is Producer on two upcoming feature projects, including the adaptation of a best-selling novel.

Paltnoi is also co-founder of a successful company specializing in interactive online and mobile content production

Michael Bell - Writer

After a successful career as a production designer working alongside Alex Mcdowell (Minority Report, The Terminal) Michael became an award-winning director of music videos and commercials, where his burgeoning talent for writing developed.

His first script was optioned by Little Bird, and led to Bell, forming a writer/director partnership with David Yates (Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.)

Bell is currently one of the UK 's hottest writers, with an imposing roster of projects in the pipeline, spanning varied genres and themes.

In 2011, Bell re-teams with Weston and Stevens on the horror project Love Motel.

Travis Stevens - Exec Producer

After graduating in 1996 with a BA in Film and Sociology, Stevens moved to Los Angeles, eventually working as a script reader for Licht-Mueller Film Group (Waterworld, The Cable Guy) AJM Productions and 7.23 Productions. Soon after he accepted a development executive position with Prosperity Pictures and was actively involved in the development of 17 feature films that went into production. During the late 90s he jumped over to the Internet and became editor and film critic for the start-up company FilmsOn.com and their proposed print edition. The Internet then crashed shortly thereafter.

Stevens spent the next two years doing production work on movies including the indie smash Secretary. He co-founded Pink Bubble Bath: The Sexy Film Festival - hosted by the lovely Dita Von Teese.

In 2005, he joined Imagination Worldwide as Contracts and Acquisitions Coordinator before becoming the Director of Acquisitions and Marketing in 2007. Since that time he has overseen the acquisition and marketing of genre hits such as The Hamiltons and The Zombie Diaries as well as critical standouts such as The Living and The Dead, The Lost, Five Across the Eyes and Smash Cut.

In 2010, Stevens, became the Head Of International Sales for Celluloid Nightmares.

Rob Weston - Producer

Rob Weston is one of the UK’s most exciting young film Producers. 

His early credits include Assistant Producing the fantasy pilots of ‘Tales From Middle Earth’ and ‘Demon Hunters’ for producer Simon Rush of MGM and director Bob Keen (‘Hellraiser’, ‘Dog Soldiers’), as well as Producer’s Representative on Ash Baron Cohen’s ‘This Girl’s Life’ starring James Woods.  His burgeoning talents were soon spotted by Former VP of 20th Century Fox Tim Hampton (‘Aliens’, ‘Lost in Space’, ‘Chariots of Fire’), who soon became Rob’s mentor figure. 

In 2001 Rob set up his own production company, Straightwire Films Ltd.  On inception, Straightwire were focused primarily on the hugely competitive music promo sector, and it was not long before they developed into one of the UK’s most prolific music promo companies.    

Straightwire would go on to pick up various awards and accolades, and exclusively represented some of the world’s most talented directors, including 3 time ‘music video director of the year’ Mike Brady. 

Concurrently, Straightwire were Developing a roster of international feature films, working with a talented pool of established and up and coming writers.  This culminated in 2008 with the production of ‘Gnaw’.

Future projects include ‘Stag’ a thriller, which sees Rob re-team with writer of ‘Gnaw’ Michael Bell, and the fantasy horror ‘Love Motel’ where Rob will produce alongside acclaimed Executive Producer Pierre David (‘Scanners’, ‘Videodrome’, ‘Internal Affairs’).
